How I see things...
Why only consider going back to 1967 or 1948? Why not go further back to 1400 years ago when Islam was founded and Mohamad claimed the Jewish temple in Jerusalem? Even then, Israel had been a Jewish land for over 2000 years. Over the past several hundred years, Muslims, Jews, and Christians have repeatedly fought and displaced each other's populations in that region.
I believe that Israel taking land from Muslims was indeed a terrible act and should not have occurred. However, unfortunate events happen, and people move on. The Japanese, Germans, and Vietnamese have moved on after conflicts. When Jews were expelled from every Muslim country, they moved on. Muslims are not reclaiming their alleged lands anytime soon, and Israel is here to stay. Thus, Muslims need to learn to co-exist.
If Israel intended to eliminate Palestinians, it could do so very quickly. Imagine if Muslims had such power; there would likely be a total annihilation of Jews. In fact, hatred towards Jews is taught to every Muslim child, not only in Gaza but around the world. I know this because I was born and raised in a Muslim country.
Israel has an innovation-driven and business-fueled economy. Conflict is detrimental to them. Israel does not desire conflict; this is evident as it gave away control of Gaza in 2005/6. In contrast, those governing Palestine thrive on this conflict. Billions of dollars in aid are pouring into their pockets from around the globe. The Israeli PM travels on commercial flights, while Hamas leadership uses private jets. It's all about money and religion.
Israeli forces go to extreme lengths to protect Palestinian civilian lives, whereas Hamas uses their own children as human shields.
I see no logical or moral reason to support the party that does not seek peace.
